Today was the 3rd and final day of the UK Open 2013 in Bournemouth. We saw the dancing of the Amateur Ballroom and Professional Latin dancers today.
The first final today was the Amateur Ballroom competition - it was a wonderful day for Poland as four couples from this country danced in the top 6. The winners were Marek Kosaty and Paulina Glazik who were clearly overt the moon with this result as they were many times very near but it was their first victory in one of the "big three" famous English events. On the second place were Chong He and Jing Shan from China. The third place went to another couple from Poland Sergiu Rusu and Dorota Makar. Photos below:
The last competition of this fabulous festival was Professional Latin. The announcement of results was anxiously awaited by everybody in the audience as it was a very close - both Michal and Riccardo danced beautifully! In the end the winners were Michal Malitowski and Joanna Leunis from England and Riccardo Cocchi and Yulia Zagoruitchenko from USA were runners-up. Sergey Sourkov and Melia who represent Russia finished on the third place.
