After five years of dancing otgether Eleonora Ricciardi and Cristian Priori decided to split up. They represented Italy. See more results. We received an email from Eleonora where she asked us to publish the following words:

For five years we shared joys and sorrows in dance as well as in our private lives.

As two inexperienced dancers we started to build our project: dance and our private life. Day after day, lesson after lesson, sacrifice after sacrifice, was transformed a year ago in the most important result of our career. The Rising Stars Final at Blackpool Dance Festival 2015.

Eleonora writes:

In order to achieve any goal I believe that we need to walk step by step, always in balance. That’s why, being true to myself, my balance and my beliefs, I’m now forced to announce that Cristian Priori and I will no longer be dancing together as we are starting our new private stories on separate paths.

I want to take this opportunity to thank all those who supported me and believed in me especially in these last four months. All those who have been part of my dancing career in good or bad because thanks to you I have been able to grow! I want to thank my family who tirelessly supported me up to the extreme in order for me to open that drawer making those dreams a reality! Thanks to my teachers for sharing with me every single step and information, especially those who believed in me and have never stopped pushing me so that I could be better.

Thanks to all those couples who at every competition have challenged me and made it so difficult for any result- but at the same time they gave me a greater sense to all my success!

In memory of the good experiences Cristian and I had together I want to sent him a hug and wish him all the best for the future!
