Sergei Konovaltsev and Olga Konovaltseva split

After 22 years of dancing together the brother and sister duo Sergei Konovaltsev and Olga Konovaltseva announced the end of their joint career. They made this announcement last Saturday, during the Russian Championships in St Petersburg. They said Good Bye with a beautiful Waltz and it was received with a standing ovation from the audience. Sergei and Olga danced together since they were Juveniles and their whole life was filled with hard training, performances and triumphs on the floor.
Sergei and Olga were multiple times Russian Standard champions, winners and finalists of many international competitions, medalists of the European Championships and finalists of the World Championships. See their results.
Olga thanked his brother and partner, teachers and students and their parents who were also present in the hall. Sergei will continue his competitive career with another partner
